q/cue/queue

Quadrille #20 over at the Bar

Thanks to WhimsyGizmo for the prompt:

New to the Q? Here’s how to play:

– Write a poem of exactly 44 words, including the word cue (or queue, or Q).
– Put your poem on your blog and link back to this post.
– Link it up to our Mr. Linky.
– Visit other blogs. Enjoy some amazing poets. Comment. Come back later this week and write another one, and visit some more. Comment some more. The Q is open all week!

************************************************************************

get in line

it’s like a prompt

or bonds muse

or a letter if you mind

your P’s and well, you know

I’ll give you a tip

and hope you don’t get snookered

fear not as I will disclose the truth

right on cue

  1. Love this one, Paul! I had to rad it aloud and it reminds me of the splash of cymbals on the hi-hats – gentle, fun, conversational jazz.
