Haibun Monday at dVerse

There is a super moon in the sky tonight. It’s a cloudy sky and invisible to my outer eye. I sense it’s presence though. Tidal wavelets travel through my body and my gravity is disturbed. There is a bright light pouring through my inner eye and I feel like sleep may evade me. Lunar being pulling at my personal space. Moon medicine. Ripples of disquiet engulf this small planet now.

You saw Brigadoon

I saw the whole of the moon

The song says it all.*

I can’t tell you how many times the sky has not cooperated when a lunar event is expected…why? It’s cloudy and rainy here tonight too but yes, we still can feel the affects.

I’ve been mesmerized by her for the last few days….like her magic is lingering, but it feels good to appreciate her presence this week. Hoping her “moon medicine” cures a few hearts and worldly troubles.
