Kim is our host for tonight’s Quadrille#28

Join us in celebrating spring! Just be sure your 44-word poem contains some form of the word spring.

hooded yellow trumpets burst forth

drops of snow light up the land

life wriggles it’s way upward

thrusting into being

sap rising and birdsong celebrating

the wheel turns and Ostara awakens

winter dies it’s death and falls away

leaving a door open to Spring

Death defines life. How did we ever cow to fear it? Especially when it is the spring it reveals? Good show, Paul. We are bracing for the snow here in nj

Wow, that image of the daffs dazzled me, bursting forth from my computer screen! My favourite lines in your Quadrille, Paul, are:
    ‘life wriggles it’s way upward’
    and
‘winter dies it’s death and falls away
leaving a door open to Spring’.
