Heart of it

i don’t know how we get there

most of the time

(sometimes it’s obvious.)

but i love it when we do

when we be

when we do

when we be

when we do be do be do, right?

it becomes a flow

there is nowhere else to inhabit

the needle has dropped

the spiral has us in it’s spin

and we fall into that groove

easy as off a log

syncopated

beat related

ululated

concentrated

connect-i-cated

pure

musical

essence

the spirit of it all

time dissapears

we dissapear

all that is left

is soul

submission for Lillin’s dVerse prompt at Poetics.

One should never ever mention the word groove without then showing this video.

do be do be do…. very cool. The essence of music and all that is left in the end. This is like reducing a good sauce until the only thing that is left, is taste. Very nice

I am envious of your inner freedom to go with the flow, wherever. What country do you live in? Today on my computer I received a list of categories. Under “Social” I see yours at the top of the list of 13,711, including 116 forums and 5,886 “updates.” On your video it said something like “Your country has not….”? Sorry. At least you were number one on the list, not number 13,711.

“it becomes a flow / there is nowhere else to inhabit / the needle has dropped / the spiral has us in it’s spin / and we fall into that groove” Of course I love the whole thing… such a cool rhythm going through it all, but here you’re off the music and on to life, aren’t you? Sometimes the deep poetry thing happens so fast the reader doesn’t catch it at first… and perhaps not the poet sometimes. I doubt you didn’t catch it, though. Brilliant writing as always.
