how to make magic: part ii

stand barefoot in the warm earth

point your fingers to your heart and

allow the w(hole) universe to flow in

fill yourself with galaxies of love which

tingle and explode into goosebumps as

tiny planets on the skin-surface of you

reminded of the unity of it all in a moment

we fall into that other world ocean of blue

swim naked in the sea of universal self

let water caress your every movement

glide through it all with no resistance

save that which lets you feel aliveness

speak in bubble tongue to the swim-soul

dwellers of the deep and sing them home

brothers and sisters on this green blue globe

hold hearts in unity wherever we might roam

lift your arms and let the air take you up high

beyond this mortal coil to where eagles alight

call your heart-song clearly to the rising moon

as you brush her with your arcing wingtips

dive in a blaze of pure trust towards the ground

and realise that there is only ever falling to do

that which is born in magic can never ever die

is the eternal story of forever pushing through

transformation is the name of the game we play

and through that door of the worlds we must step

time and again we die that non death and rise up

rocketing from the fire phoenix like and re=birthed

same soul different costume same eternity different day

humbling us all this drip drip of life on the rock of being

reducing it all to the truest basic principle of magical life

open that other eye so that it can be used  for the seeing

My submission for the  Real Toads prompt ( where I am hanging for the whole of April) using the A l’Arora form as prompted by Sanaa. This also fits nicely with the NaPoWriMo prompt for today to write a poem in which mysterious and magical things occur.

This is also the second in a new series of poems. Here’s the first

My goodness this is absolutely mesmerizing!💜 Especially love; “beyond this mortal coil to where eagles alight call your heart-song clearly to the rising moon.” Thank you so much for writing to the prompt.💜

Prayer-like in form and content, Paul! I like the idea of allowing
‘…the w(hole) universe to flow in
fill yourself with galaxies of love which
tingle and explode into goosebumps as
tiny planets on the skin-surface of you’
    I also love the lines:
‘speak in bubble tongue to the swim-soul
dwellers of the deep and sing them home’.

I love this, and feel the lesson within,,I especially like the line
“same soul different costume same eternity different day” you make the dream of a spiritual life seem possible for everyone 🙂

there are some most magical lines pepper/sprinkled through this elemental grouping, a wonderful pulse, a beat that withstands our concept of time and knowing, and limited understanding of how, or why – and just says “wake up and be the breath”
