foundation’s gone unless we make-up time for that brave face to crumble
Day 14 of NaPoWriMo and this morning feels like a wall.
Marion woos us with some chilled toons from Carla Morrison. I’m not sure the muse picked up the vibe this morning as an American sentence flowed out which can be read two ways without punctuation. To punctuate or not?…that is the question.
As always I’m hanging ( by a thread this morning) with the Toads all month.
We hit the wall, sooner or later.. but I know you will push through.
Here is a great line interwoven with metaphor and pun – and great title too.. it will see us through until tomorrow.
Thanks Kerry. As I said in another response, the poetry is the one thing right now that is helping me get up and at the day. The wall is in life, not poetry 😉
Oh yes, either than or we watch as the foundation slowly crumbles. Beautifully penned, Paul!💞
I read it three ways, and you know I love AS. I may do some today too.
I’ll look out for them.
I do know you love them and so I’ll look out for your posts.
Interesting!!!
much love…
One of those days, “don’t you just hate it when that happens?” I am thing of you 🙂
Ha ha, I meant to write “thinking of you” I fight with spell check and my iPad most days.
Memorable sentence! I like AS too.
Some days are like that. Yesterday was mine. Good American sentence, Paul, regardless.
Yes! But really it is you!
Wonderful sentence. We all hit the wall and hang by a thread. It seems a lot of days I do that. Depression is a real bitch. As for punctuation, I know haiku has no punctuation except for the aspirated short dash. American sentences? I am clueless.
a poem to ponder…
I love your play on words, Paul, and I know that feeling well.
I like this, Paul. Always game for a good-ole American sentence. Brave face today.
