Goodbye TOADS
I have ignored the prompts and just opened the door to what might come
Special Thanks to Kerry for everything and more
it is a tear that falls
it is a tear that cuts
how some wounds are opened with heart!
moments
memories
a smile or two
a knowing kinship
penned communally
and all the words a stage
no mistake here!
such death can be smiled upon
with fullness
with soul
buried to blossom
seeded bomb of love
Paul, how wonderful to read you tonight. Only today, i looked up our In Tandem poem, and marvelled at it. Glad to see you still writing. Did you hear about Brendan’s site earthweal.com, for poems about the climate crisis?
Hi Sherry. Good to hear from you. I’m not writing at all right now. I just got an email which I clicked on and discovered the Toads were closing. I felt moved to write for the occasion. I did see Brendan’s post and I’ll keep it in mind. I’m busy with my drumming work and travelling but the writer in me has not gone away. Hope all is well with you.
Thank you for a final ‘Scribble It’ response to Real Toads. You were a most welcome addition to the toads, Paul.
May the road always rise up to greet you on your journey of soul.
Thanks Kerry. I really loved my short time with the Toads and will be forever grateful for the opportunity I had to develop my writing through the group. Life has taken me in another marvellous direction right now and the writer is taking a sabbatical..I’m sure there will come a time when Mr Scribbles reappears. Good luck with your own road ahead. xx
Hello Paul, so nice to see you around… and when you feel ready I hope there will be places for you… dVerse is still around.
Thanks Bjorn. Good to hear dVerse is going strong. I am travelling a lot, drumming a lot and having fun a lot. There will be a day for writing again I am sure. Lots of love to you.
So nice to see you post again! I hope your drumming and travels are going well.
Hey You. The drumming and the travels are all kinds of awesome. Hope life is sweet for you too. Big Hug x
Back atcha. ❤
