This from Kim at Writing in North Norfolk for this evenings dVerse Quadrille #18
Here’s how to Quadrille:
– Write a poem of exactly 44 words, including the word cloud.
– Put your poem on your blog and link back to this post.
– Link it up to our Mr. Linky.
– Visit other blogs. Enjoy some amazing poets. Comment. Come back later this week and write another one, and visit some more. Comment some more. Create as many poem clouds as you please. I’ll be reading all week.

I perambulated alone like a beep
as the rock gathering no moss sang
‘I say, you there, would you mind removing yourself from my beep.’
It was raining cats and dogs
but not where the beep was busted
Do I have to say beep?

You made me chuckle, imagining Mr Jagger singing ‘I say, you there, would you mind removing yourself from my beep.’ Clever stuff!
Thanks Kim. I was worried I might get a rollicking for not saying the beep word 😉
Not at all! It’s there in a roundabout way! 😉
Indeed. It is hidden in plain sight.
I love the sparkling humor and wit here 🙂 Kudos
Why thank you Sanaa.
A ‘five’ letter word! Oh no. Very clever take on the prompt.
Thanks Brian.
I’m smiling. Fun take on the prompt, Paul.
Thanks.
Am I the only one who thought if the movie Home, with the boov (is that how you spell it?) named Oh? Lots of fun, thanks Paul!
Don’t know the movie or the Boov but I’m gonna check it out. Thanks for commenting Crystal.
Light and fun Paul ~ Hope you have a lovely day ~
Thank You Grace.
Ha.. so clever.. that beep is for some a badge of honor.
Glad you liked it Bjorn.
Playful take, Paul! ^^
Thanks Maria
I can hear you smile throughout this, very funny Paul :o)
You can hear smiles? WoW 😉
It’s in the rhythm of your words :o)
Good answer 😉
I’m probably the only person in the universe who doesn’t get this. But, I would rather have the do appreciate the substitute word 🙂
It is a tad obscure I guess but the references are poetic and musical and there’s a big clue in the tags 😉
Thanks for the hint
I’m a little slow today and didn’t get this at first. After reading a comment or two I’m glad I reread the poem. I get it now. 😉
lol…glad to hear it Linda.
This poem makes me happy. I needed to “beep” a few of my own words, today. 😉
Thank You.
Yes, your tags helped a lot. 🙂 This was fun!
Thanks
very cute. i like it.
Thank You.
Well, this made me laugh as I thought what the beep? Why does a cloud of smoke come to mind?
Don’t you mean a beep of smoke? 😉
